Developer-first payments platform that lets businesses embed and automate high-volume, account-to-account ACH payments. Worked on the backend admin platform.

Highlights

• Improved the reliability and scalability of Dwolla's core payment API by rewriting key components as distributed, event-driven Scala services. The platform supports billions of dollars in annual ACH transactions.
• Built internal tools in React and TypeScript that let non-technical customer support staff resolve payment issues independently, removing engineering from the critical-path support workflow. Continued to maintain the legacy C# systems being phased out.
• Mentored engineers, conducted technical interviews, and championed functional programming and event-driven architecture as team standards.
